A Journey Through

Wow Its been forever sense I had time to blog. In August I took the position at the school district. It’s been a little different then what was betrayed during the interview, but I am learning each day to find joy in what I am doing. I am still very much in sabbatical period that I am learning and experiencing grow in many ways. The other day I was studying different kinds of sabbaticals and learned a sabbatical is not just a time of rest but can be a time for new things, a time of learning, a time of changing and the one most common a time of rest and healing. Like season I spoke about last time I posted this is a season of learning and growth I feel. In the middle of this season I sense the lord teaching me some important things that will be crucial in the new season of ministry. It seems each day I am getting a better and better vision of what that next season will be and where. At some point I will share with world what I feel that vision is. For now, I wait, pray and seek His guidance down the right path. Sometimes the challenging part is the journey to get to our destination. And its even harder not really knowing where our destination really is. It’s like getting in the car and someone telling you to drive. The first question you want to ask is “okay, where to?” and only getting the answer to “I will let you know when we get there.” A quote I found the other day was “There will always be challenges when walking forward in obedience, but the Lord sustains us through all seasons” What a great truth to stand on and a promise He has given us. He will sustain us through all seasons. So, for now I keep driving… I am getting a better idea to where, but I know I am going to need a lot of help to get there. I trust Him each day to get me there.
