While taking some time this morning to think the idea of seasons in life came to mind. I was reminded of Ecclesiastes 3 “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven…” I only have to wonder what season am I in. For the past year I think I have been in a season of healing and being restored. I feel a season in my life is coming to an end and a new season is about to be released. A season of growth and equipping, a season of ministry and harvest. I strongly believe whatever season of life we are currently in its preparing you for next. I believe our nation is currently coming into a new season as well. One can only hope it’s a season where God will be put forth and be glorified! It’s important no matter what season of life we are in that we stop and sit. We sit with our Father in heaven in meditation. Something I am learning to do better and better at each day. Learning to stop everything around you. Turn off technology, stop talking and just listen to Christ in a wholehearted way. Sometimes that can be hard to do with all the drama and stresses around us. As we make time for our families, fitness we must make time to listen to God most high. Once we can do just this we can find our dwelling place, our resting place. Our place of healing. I love 1 John 4:13 where it says “By this we know that we abide (or dwell) in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.” What a great truth we need to remind ourselves as we journey through whatever season of life we are in.
